Kobe Bryant is now better than Michael Jordan — at least as far as the NBA’s all-time scoring list is concerned.
On Dec.14,during a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves (明尼苏达森林狼队),the Los Angeles Lakers (洛杉矶湖人队) star passed Jordan,a legendary scorer,for third place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
Kobe is one of the ten best players in basketball history.He has won five championships with the Lakers.However,in the past two seasons,the great basketball player suffered from big injury problems,and missed many games.But this season,he uses the number of points he has scored to prove that he is back and can continue to make history.
“It’s a huge honor for me to pass Jordan in NBA scoring,” Kobe said.“I have learned so much from him.He’s been such a huge part of my success and career in giving me advice and offering me help.”
Jordan,widely thought of as one of the greatest players of all time and the mentor of Kobe,congratulated the talented basketball player on reaching this milestone.
“Kobe is a great player,with a strong work ethic and has a strong passion for the game of basketball,” Jordan said.“I’ve enjoyed watching his games over the years,and I look forward to seeing what he can achieve next.”
