American Dreams,this is a phrase everyone knows,yet so many people seem not to be sure what's the meaning behind it.What is "American Dreams"?I think the answer depends on each person's own experience,his or her own life stories.Everyone of us living on this land,except Native Americans,came from somewhere else at some point,in search of freedom,liberty,happiness,or to escape prosecution.In my situation,my grandparents escaped China 60 years ago to seek freedom.They left with not a penny to their name and came to the US to start a new life.Over the years,they became American citizens and are successful in business.Just like everyone else in this country,they enjoy their personal rights and are respected by the society.They work hard and get wealthy.This,is what I call an American Dream.That anyone can be successful as long as he or she works hard,that everyone is treated equally and be respectful to each other.
