It is widely acknowledged that to be selfless is a great virtue. Selflessness is taught to be the quality of a great person, to be always giving expecting nothing in return, and to put the needs and wants of others' above our own. One might ask why this characteristic in a human is so desirable. Many people would agree that the person appears to be nice; she or he is a nice person who does the right thing. 人们普遍认为无私是一种美德.我们被教导无私是一个出色人物的品质,总是付出、不求回报,急人所急、想人所想.我们可能要问为什么人的这种品质如此为人推崇,许多人的答案会是因为这是好人做的事,这个人总是做正确的事情.
For example, our common sense and conscience tells us that it is not good or right to steal, lie, cheat, or hurt other people.Times don't change by themselves, we change them.
