观察下面句子：the house which i visited is beautiful.我参观的房子很美
The house in which i live is beautiful.我住的房子很美.
都是定语从句,先行词是名词或者代词,第一句用which,第二句用in which,主要的原因在于从句谓语.visit sp.visit是及物动词,visit the house 即可,which指代先行词the house.而第二句,live 不及物,表达方式应为live in the house 所以变为live in which,in which 提前就变成这样了.
另外还有些,
譬如The reason why (=for which) i am late is .----i am late for the reason（which=the reason）.为了这个原因我迟了.
The factory where (=in which) i worked is big.work in the factory
The spring festival,when (=during which) all the family members will get together,is wonderful.---members will get together during the festival.介词一定要加,不然句子不通.
