What we can expect now is an India-Iran bloc, a China-Pakistan bloc, and an America-NATO bloc. Russia would float between blocs, allying with either India, China or America at different times. All three rely on each other for trade, military hardware and all of them have a common enemy in al-Queda (though both the Pakistanis and Americans had previously supported them).
